110509 0217 to 0225 hours-Shelburne Rdg.-Two unlocked vehicles were entered. A Tom Tom GPS was taken from one and an art print was taken from the other. Two males with hooded sweatshirts left the area in an older model blue four door car.

1100409 1710 to 1740 hours-732 Johnson Ferry Rd. (Atlanta Swim Academy) Two entering autos by shattering the front windows with one attempt to shatter the windows of a third vehicle. A Burberry purse with credit cards, and Dell laptop in black leather case were taken from one. A black purse with debit card, a digital camera, Texas Instrument’s calculator and cash was taken from the other.

Suspect was on video was described as a white male 510, 200 lbs. He was occupying an older silver or light blue Toyota Camry. Suspect and vehicle descriptions are consistent with the Mt. Bethel church entering auto suspect.

110409 1630 to 1730 hours.- Lower Roswell Rd. (Personal training)

Purse left on the front passenger floor board and the driver side window was shattered. Black plastic purse and two Wachovia checkbooks were taken.

House was thoroughly searched by the suspects who took multiple firearms, laptop computer, 16 pairs of cowboy boots, jewelry and cash. S & W .357 revolver, Colt .38 revolver, Beretta .25 pistol, Remington 12 gauge pump shotgun, Winchester 30/30 rifle, Remington .22 rifle were stolen.

110209 0900 to 2020 hrs- 2010 Roswell Rd (Azalea Springs)-second story rear patio door kicked in. Apartment ransacked. Sony PS3 and a JVC CD player were taken.

110209 0635 to 1615 hrs- Alexandria Ct (Bentley Ridge)- front door kicked in, residence trashed. Dell Inspiron laptop and a Garmin Nuvi GPS unit taken. Prints lifted from a monitor moved but left behind.

110209 1047 to 1051 hrs- Twin Branches Circle (Twin Branches)- complainant (teenager) was upstairs when he heard a noise and then saw that the rear door had been kicked in. He left out the front door and called 911. Officers cleared the residence and when the victim arrived, she advised nothing was missing. Suspect is the estranged husband of the victim.

103109 1730 to 1102091050 hrs- 1360 Powers Ferry Rd- suites B-200, B-102, B-107, B-106, B-109. Complainant arrived to find forced entry into the building. Entry was made by prying open the door to suite B-109 providing access to multiple suites (different businesses) within the building. Once inside, the perpetrators were able to go from business to business. Blue jeans and designer knock off purses taken from Rose’s Hair and Nails, desktop computer of unknown make, credit cards and cash taken from BRA Express, Compaq Presario computer, Dell Dimension computer, portable heater, Lasko fan, hand tools, office chair and keyboard stand taken from Trapstar Entertainment.

103109 1523 hrs- 2118 Post Oak Tritt Rd (Brilliant Car Wash)- undetermined whether this is burglary or a criminal damage to property. Witness observed a side door had been kicked in to this business. The owner lives out of state and no contact information.

Owner advised there did not appear to be anything taken. Officer checked the rest of the complex and found forced entry to 4 other businesses. Several items of value in each business including computers & laptops were left untouched. Suspect was very target specific- Apple iMac computers appeared to be the target as those were taken while other brands were left behind.

102709 1825 to 1829 hrs- Roanoke Place (Bentley Ridge)- alarm call. Officer arrived to find the front door kicked in. The residence had been ransacked. Victim advised nothing was taken.

102809 0128 to 0140 hrs- 1260 Powers Ferry Rd (Discount Smokes and Tobacco)- alarm call. Rear steel door was pried open. This door led to a storage area only. There was no entry made into the main business and no damage to that interior door. Boxes of cigarettes and lottery tickets were in the storage area but left untouched. There was a second alarm call at 0312 hours. Officers arrived to find another attempt to force entry into the interior door to the business as there was fresh damage to the door. Again nothing was taken.

102809 1000 to 1030 hrs- 1550 Terrell Mill Rd- (Barrington Mill)- attempted burglary. Victim was in bed asleep when he heard a loud pounding on his front door. His dog began to bark and the pounding stopped. He looked out his bedroom window and observed two black males leaving the scene. They walked into the woods and through a hole in the fence that leads to other apartment complexes. They are described as- Suspect 1- 18 to 20 years of age, medium complexion, 510-600 ft/150-160 lbs wearing white hat, light green hooded sweater and blue jeans, Suspect 2- 18-20 years of age, dark complexion, 509-510 / 160-170lbs, short hair wearing a gray zip up sweater and blue jeans.

102809 1050 to 1440 hrs- Moss Ln (Bentley Woods)- burglary attempt. Window broken out of a rear door. The door was pried on and kicked but apparently did not yield. No entry, nothing taken.

102809 0850 to 1220 hrs- Hearthstone Ln- rear basement door kicked in. Sony Playstation 3, Wii game system, Dell laptop computer and a Nikon D40X camera were taken. Latent fingerprints were lifted.

101809 0930 to 102509 2330 hrs- Hamilton Place- victim went out of town and returned to find some jewelry and a Toshiba laptop computer missing. She believes the rear sliding door may have been left accidentally unlocked by her sister who was pet sitting.

102909 0129 to 0131 hrs- 1260 Powers Ferry Rd (Discount Smokes and Tobacco)- alarm call. Officers arrived to find front glass window shattered. Multiple lottery tickets were taken. See the above mentioned previous incident.

102509 0100 to 0120 hrs- 1049 Powers Ferry Rd - (Signature Place)- victim received a text message from his ex-girlfriend stating “I wonder why your bike cover is missing”. The victim then had a neighbor check on his apartment and the neighbor advised that there were 4 black males outside of his apartment trying to gain entry. When the victim arrived home, the door knob to his front door was very loose. No entry was made into the apartment but the cover was missing off of his motorcycle parked in the parking lot.

102809 0200 to 0350 hrs- 2010 Roswell Rd (Azalea Springs)- attempted theft of wheels off of a 2002 Cadillac Escalade. Only thing missing were some lug nuts.

101609 1830 hrs- 505 Powers Ferry Rd (John Knox Presbyterian Church)- Boy Scout tents missing from a storage closet in the fellowship hall. No forced entry into the church. No suspects.

102709 2115 to 2145 hrs- Oak Trail Dr (Pine Bluff)- officers responded to a suspicious activity call when the complainant observed suspicious males walking down the street with lawn equipment. A weed eater was dropped by one of them in the complainant’s yard. The victim then called the police to report that yard equipment had been taken out of his garage. Weed eater was recovered. Harley Davidson clock and a push edger of unknown make were taken. Only suspect information provided was two males in their early 20’s.

102309 0830 to 1520 hrs- Morgan Lake Dr (Morgan Lake)- forced entry to the front door. 6 books of Bank of America checks were taken. Multiple electronic items were overlooked or left.

102509 0958 to 1000 hrs- Powers Ferry Rd- victim was in the shower and thought he heard the doorbell. He then heard some loud noises and exited the shower. He walked into the living room and observed two black males at the back of his kitchen. Subjects then exited the rear door and fled through the back yard. Nothing was taken from the residence. Victim could only advise that they subjects appeared to be 18-25 years of age, one wearing a dark gray jacket or hooded sweat shirt. The second subject was wearing a black or navy blue jacket or hooded sweat shirt. One of them was wearing a dark colored baseball style hat that appeared to have a yellow letter M on it, possibly a Michigan hat. Foot prints discovered outside would indicate one of the subjects was wearing Nike Air Force One athletic shoes.

102409 0337 hrs- Montwood Court (Shallowford Trace)- victim advised that they observed three young white males in her driveway and in her neighbor’s driveway. She yelled at them and they fled. Two of the subject got into a black Ford Explorer with tinted windows and drove off. The third subject fled on foot toward the rear of the subdivision. $10.00 cash was taken out of one of the unlocked vehicles parked in the driveway.

Victim came outside to leave when he observed the center console in his car was lifted and his GPS NAV Unit was missing.. There was a second GPS NAV Unit taken from the second unlocked vehicle in the driveway. Both units were Garmin Nuvanis. Victim advised he could hear young male voices walking up the street when he came outside.

Observed on the video were two white males standing in front of the store around 0410 hours. One male had a thin build and was wearing a hooded sweatshirt with a cross on the back. Second male had a thin build with dark shaggy hair and wearing a dark coat. Facial image available on the video footage.

102109 1117 hours.- Woodglen Ln. (Wood Glen) Alarm response with the rear door found forced open. A suspect was seen by a neighbor, described as a heavy set black male age 30 -40. He drove away fast in a light colored pickup. Two other descriptions of the truck from other neighbors:

Light colored truck with a different colored passenger door.
Light colored; possibly grey truck with white and red lettering.

Tool marks found at the rear sliding door where entry was made. Taken were a 47” Akai flat screen TV, 27” Insignia flat screen TV, Sony PSIII, Compaq Presario laptop, HP digital camera, and a Besey tool bag with power tools.

The vehicle was parked in the driveway, left unlocked. A Hewlitt Packard Laptop computer, mans wallet with contents, and black brief case were taken.

A package containing jewelry was stolen from the back porch, delivered by UPS on 9/23/09. The squirrel trapped in the squirrel trap in the backyard was also missing.

Possible suspect prints were lifted.

The acquaintance, identified as Michael Clark, got into the vehicle and instead of backing it onto the property, he drove away. Also inside the 2001 Chevy Silverado were the victim’s purse and medications. Through independent investigation Officer Petrea was able to obtain a possible address for the suspect. Officers responded to that location where the truck and trailer were located. Suspect Michael Clark was arrested and charged with Theft by Taking- Auto. Vehicle and trailer were returned to the victim.

091209 1800 hours.-4475 Roswell Rd. (Avenue of East Cobb)-While he was performing a foot patrol of the shopping center, Sgt Ramirez was alerted to a shoplifting in progress. The suspects were using an elastic strap around the waste to conceal items. Sgt Ramirez was able to prevent the suspects from fleeing the scene in a silver 1998 Honda CRV SC BDW715. As he physically took custody of one suspect the other ran on foot. Officer E.W. Barnett was the second officer on scene and was able to locate and give chase. With the arrival of Officers Wentz and Officer C. Gamble they were successful in locating the second suspect and took him into custody.

Det. C. Northern also responded to the scene to assist in the investigation and scene processing.

A total of approximately $9602.00 of merchandised was recovered and returned to six different stores.

Ruger Judge 45/410 (probably a Taurus since they make the Judge), Star Firestar .40 cal pistol with box of ammo were taken from the center console, Puma fixed blade hunting knife, 2 Case knives, Leatherman multi-tool, Mag Lite flashlight taken from door pockets.

The check was cashed that day the product has never been delivered.

Cutting tool was used to cut into the safe. $600 cash was taken. ADT alarm had apparently been defeated by cutting the phone lines.

While responding to the call, Officer Sebek observed a black Mazda Protégé parked on Karls Gate in a suspicious manner. He ran the Fulton County tag which came back to an address in Atlanta. Sebek also observed a backpack on the front seat. Upon arriving on the scene and learning of the suspect’s direction of travel, Sebek followed in that direction which ended up coming out on Karl’s Gate near where the Protégé had been parked. Nothing was taken.

Believing it was his roommates, he went upstairs to ask them to be quiet. He then observed a black male looking through his roommates belongings. He ran back downstairs to call 911. He did not observe the suspect leave. Sony laptop computer, Sony digital camera, Motorola cell phone and a Samsung cell phone taken. Suspect is described as being a 25 year old black male, 509 / 160 lbs, short black hair and clean shaven.

082509 1000 to 1030 hrs- Terrell Trace Dr (Terrell Trace)- Victim advised that he was on his front porch when he heard his dogs start barking. He went inside and looked out the rear window to see the gate open to his fence and two black males running through the yard. He tried to catch up to them but they ran into the woods line at Ivy Ridge Apts. He returned to his house and later discovered his Sony Cybershot camera missing. The rear door to the house was unlocked. Suspects are described as 20-25 year old black males.

082309 1600 to 082809 1545 hrs- Brown Point Place- vacant house For Sale. Forced entry to lock box providing a key and the alarm code. All major Wolfe appliances were stolen- Wolfe stove top, dishwasher, double oven, warming drawer, refrigerator, projector screen TV, DVD player and a receiver for the entertainment center.

082809 1200 to 1415 hrs- 1550 Terrell Mill Rd- (Barrington Mill Apts)- victim arrived home to find forced entry to her front door. She noticed a suspicious black male standing on the sidewalk near her door. She asked if she could use his cell phone to call 911. The subject casually said that his phone was broken and walked away, getting into a 1990’s model Ford Explorer and left. A maintenance worker located a red pillow case behind the building that she recognized from her apartment. Inside the pillow case was her laptop computer and jewelry, which was all recovered. A neighbor advised that he had observed two black males on the sidewalk in front of her apartment prior to her arrival home. One of them matched the description of the person she asked to borrow his phone. Suspect vehicle might have been captured on video.

083009 0300 hrs- 2000 East Lake Pkwy- (East Lake Apts)- officer dispatched to suspicious persons call. Caller advised the subjects were looking into cars and left in a silver car. Upon arrival Officer Lignitz and Officer Kelly made contact with the suspect vehicle- being a silver 2004 Chevy Impala. The vehicle was occupied by 3 white males matching the description provided by the witness. Officers observed loose change fall from the lap of one of the occupants as they exited the vehicle. Officer Kelly also observed change on the ground around one of the parked vehicles. The witness informed Officer Kelly that he watched as the suspects entered that vehicle, searching it before driving away. This was immediately prior to the traffic stop. All three suspects were arrested at which time the officers located a Pioneer stereo faceplate, a gray JC Penney jewelry box containing two gold bracelets and a gold pocket watch inside the suspect vehicle. Suspected narcotics were also found.

The vehicle was described as a silver sedan, possibly a Chevrolet. The tag obtained by the victim came back to a vehicle confirmed by detectives to be in a body shop in Macon.
